Itinerary

 

Day 1: Hanoi - Halong(L - D)

7h30 - 8h30: The bus and guide will pick you up at your hotel, for the 3.5 hr (165km) drive to Halong City.

10:00: Have a short rest (30 minutes) in the middle way.

12:00: Board Halong Phoenix Cruiser. Lunch is served with a welcome drink while the boat cruises the bay to enjoy the beautiful limestone seascape.

You will see Dog Rock, Incense Burner Rock, as well as Fighting Cock Rock before heading to Sung Sot Cave(Cave of Surprises).

Later we stop at a floating house owned by fishermen before kayaking to Luon Cave to enjoy the quiet atmosphere of the bay.

After returning to the boat a fresh fruit platter will be served, and we will anchor in a safe and scenic location for swimming and our overnight stay.

Dinner is served onboard and then you have free time to listen to music, join in Karaoke singing or relax under the stars.

 

Day 2: Halong - Hanoi(B - L)

7.30: Breakfast will be served on the boat, before cruising to another part of Halong Bay whe-re you will view more of the bays spectacular limestone scenery, such as Drum Cave, Man's Head Islet, Turtle Islet and Fairman's Cave.

The junk then heads to Van Gia fishing village- one of the oldest and largest floating villages in Halong Bay.

You will have the opportunity to understand more about the fishermen's daily life, before cruising to a beautiful, secluded spot to swim.

11.30: The boat returns to the dock for lunch in an A/C restaurant before returning to Hanoi.

Trip ends around 16:00. D-rop until your hotel in Hanoi. Good bye & see you again!

Day 1: Hanoi – Halong Bay(L - D)

AM: Be picked up at your hotel f-rom 8h00 for 3.5 hour bus ride through the country side of the Red River Delta to Ha Long City. Upon arrival, aboard Halong Phoenix Cruiser, fresh seafood lunch(vegetarian menu available) would be served while the boat is gliding out.

PM: A short tender ride f-rom the middle of the bay to an island for the famous Sung Sot Cave, followed by visiting Ti Top island, relax on its beach or walk up to the top for the panoramic view of the anchorage area. As the sun sets over the bay, just relax on sundeck with your favorite drink. Dinner is served with typically local seafood. Overnight on board

 

Day 2: Halong Bay Kayaking(B - L - D)

AM: Rise up for a breath taking on sundeck, be ready with your camera for a stunning vista in the serene bay. After breakfast, a kayaking support boat will take you further to the Southern end of Halong bay to anchor in the tranquil beauty of Lan Ha, away f-rom the overcrowded water area. Learn some basic paddling techniques, then make your own strokes and private beaches hopping.

PM: Lunch (BBQ lunch on beach is at tidal permission) and swim at a private beach. More kayaking for more deserted lagoons then goes a perfect time to take in the views in the cool of the afternoon as the last rays of the sun cast reflections over this beautiful area. You would be back on the Phoenix Cruiser at the end of the afternoon. Dinner and overnight on boat.

 

Day 3: Halong Bay – Hanoi(B - L)

AM: Rise up for a breathtaking on sundeck, a totally relax morning until cooking demonstration. You learn recipes and techniques that go into the most popular dish of the Vietnamese food just before lunch time. Lunch would be served when cruising back to the harbor.

PM: Our bus is waiting on the harbor to take you back to Hanoi. Trip ends at your hotel around 16h00.

Option 2: Halong - Cat Ba Discovery

 

 

Day 1: Hanoi – Ha Long Bay(L - D)

AM: Be picked up at your hotel f-rom 8h00(we may do several pick-ups) for 3.5 hours bus ride through the country side of the Red River Delta to Ha Long City. Upon arrival, aboard Halong Phoenix Cruiser, fresh seafood lunch (vegetable menu available) would be served while the boat is creeping out.

PM: A short tender ride f-rom your boat in the middle of the bay to an island for the famous Surprising (Sung Sot) Cave, followed by another island visit (Titop Island) and swimming on its sandy beach. As the sun sets over the anchorage area, it is your own time to lean back on our well designed deck with your favorite drink. Dinner will be served with typically local seafood. Overnight on boat.

 

Day 2: Ha Long Bay – Cat Ba Island(B - L - D)

AM: Morning breath taking in the serene Heritage Site then breakfast before leaving Halong Phoenix Cruiser for an active day on another site of the bay. A local support boat will take us to a sleepy water area of Cat Ba National Park, whe-re you grab the paddle and make your own strokes to discover parts of Lan Ha Bay. It is your time to go exploring labyrinth of limestone cliffs that rise out of the sea, paddle through floating houses and deserted lagoons and wild sandy beaches f-rom our sleek ocean kayaks.

PM: Lunch (BBQ lunch on beach is at tidal permission) on boat, relax and swim f-rom your own private beach. More kayaking to other parts of the bay, by now you are pro kayakers, seeing other amazing limestone karts formations f-rom the water up close and personal, in ways many people can only imagine!

When you get tired, leave your kayaks behind to take a transfer boat to Cat Ba Island. We then drive you to Cat Ba Eco Lodge, an ideal jungle lodge that compliments the local culture, perfectly in tune with the surrounding environment.

 

Day 3: Cat Ba Island - Hai Phong - Hanoi(B - L)

AM: After your breakfast, options arise to:

  • Relax and do some reading at the lodge
  • Rent a motorbike (at your expense) f-rom the lodge and drive to see the town
  • Stick to our original itinerary: be guided to hike Cat Ba National Park(2 hours hiking) after a short bus ride f-rom the lodge. Physical reward and magnificent view!

PM: We take a hydrofoil boat ride f-rom Cai Vieng Pier to Hai Phong City, and then 2 more hours drive back to Hanoi. Trip ends at your hotel around 17h00.

Located in the head of the junk, with area for check in/out, this luxurious restaurant is designed to serve 40 customers with separate tables and chair carved with precious wood. Customers will be served with delicious food as well as romantic sightseeing in the bay cuisines offered on board with topics: traditional Vietnamese cuisines.

It is a warm and romantic atmosphere, will be the feeling you have when sitting by overlooking sea view window and being served in our restaurant. All the dishes are made of fresh materials in the coast.

Sundeck

On the top deck passengers will find the sunset station with cloth roof. This is the ideal place f-rom which to soak up the atmosphere of the bay, perhaps whilst enjoying an exotic cocktail served by waiters. Guests can be tanning themselves for relaxing.
