DAY 1: Hanoi – City tour (L)

After having breakfast, the tour guide with shuttle bus will arrive to pick up you to join Hanoi city tour at 8.30. The tour starts by visiting Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum and Ho Chi Minh Museum. Observe the architectural and historical aspects of Uncle Ho’s final resting-place. Just beside is Ho Chi Minh’s house on stilts where he used to live during wartime. Locating not far from the Mausoleum is the One Pillar Pagoda which was built by King Ly Thai To in 1049. The structure has displayed an essential symbol for the Hanoian. Proceed to visit the Temple of Literature (Quoc Tu Giam) – Vietnam’s first University constructed in 1070. Its gardens and well-preserved structure offer a relaxing sight into Vietnam’s past. Have lunch at local restaurants. Continue to visit the Ethnology Museum. Following that, we will take you to Hoan Kiem Lake, see the tranquil water, and visit Ngoc Son Temple. (Read more about these attractions) An hour of rickshaw tour around the bustling old quarter to feel ordinary life in Hanoi. At 18.00, back to your accommodation. Now it’s your free time to have dinner and a quick glance to explore the heart of Hanoi. Overnight at hotel in Hanoi.


DAY 2: Hanoi – Halong Bay (B-L)

Magnificent Ha Long Bay, with its 2000– plus islands rising from the clear, blue waters of the Gulf of Tonkin, is one of the nature marvels of Vietnam. Close to the rocky limestone islets, there are numerous sandy dune, hidden stalagmite caves that created by the wind, and wave million years ago. The visitor can cruise among 3000 tiny limestone islands, and enjoy the stunning view of this world Heritage site. The tour guide will pick you up at the hotel around 7.30 depart to Ha Long City-the capital of Quang Ninh province. After 2h, take a rest at Humanity center and have a cup of coffee. Arrive in Ha Long city about 11.30. Have lunch on the boat where you will be satisfied by many kinds of seafood. After the meal, boat starts cruising Halong Bay (4-hours), where you have a possibility to visit the two most beautiful caves – Thien Cung cave or the Heaven Grotto and Dau Go Cave or Wooden Stake Grotto, and we can learn the life on the water in Floating Village of the fisherman. At about 16.00, the boat goes back to the port and we get on the bus to go back to Ha Noi. Stay overnight in Hanoi.


DAY 3: Hanoi – Ho Chi Minh – Cu Chi tunnel (B, L)

Morning, enjoy breakfast at the hotel. After that, we transfer you to the airport for flight to Ho Chi Minh. Afternoon, visit Cu Chi Tunnels located 60km from Ho Chi Minh City. Cu Chi is now a popular place for both Vietnamese & foreign tourists – the network of over 200km of tunnels turned legendary when they played an essential role in the War. In their heyday, the tunnels were functioning underground cities including various trap doors, specially constructed living areas, weapons factories, field hospitals, storage facilities, command centers & kitchens. Stay overnight in Ho Chi Minh.


DAY 4: Ho Chi Minh – Mekong Delta (B-L)

At 8.00, leave Ho Chi Minh City for the spectacular journey along the National Highway bordered by green rice fields. Arrival at My Tho, then visit Vinh Trang pagoda before take a relaxed boat row along the river, see houses on stilts, fruit plantations and fishing villages along the river bank. Proceed to Tortoise islet, have lunch in the orchard garden. Later, ride a boat to An Khanh– a less touristy spot in Ben Tre, enjoy rowing on a hand-rowed sampan beneath the shade of water coconut trees along natural canals. Enjoy a short cycling then enjoy seasonal fruit & honey tea to the sound of “Southern Vietnamese folk music,” performed by the locals. Visit a family business which outlines the pleasant rural lifestyle, taste yummy coconut candy & observe the pastoral life as you walk through the fruit plantations and villages. Head back to Ho Chi Minh and stay overnight.


DAY 5: Ho Chi Minh – Departure (B-L)

After breakfast, we start the day by visiting Notre Dame Cathedral, the Reunification Palace, followed by exploring historic Central Post Office, and the astonishing site of the War Remnants Museum. After lunch, we transfer you to the airport for your departure flight. End of the journey!
