My friends and I visited Hanoi during a trip through SEA this summer. We decided to check out Halong Bay, and ventured in to the labyrinth that is old quarters to find an agency. Our search came to a halt outside the neat little office of Viet Mind Tours. The friendly owners gave helpful advice, not just regarding the bay but also the city (lunch spots for example) and flight tickets. The cruise through Halong bay offers breathtaking views of the strange archipelago as well as activities such as a cooking class, kayaking and fishing for squid.
All in all I can strongly recommend Halong Tour Vietnam. Cheaper prices might be found elsewhere but we definitely felt we got our moneys worth

I visited Vietnam from March 3rd to 17th with 15 Canadians from "Mango Group". The tour exceeded my expectation. We visited Vietnam starting in Ho Chi Minh City, going north. Everything was perfectly organized by our reference person Lucy. Our daily tours happened exactly on time with no delays or any other problems. We were able to see the highlights of Vietnam in such a short period of time. Our tour guides were very professional, knowledgable and very pleasant, making our trip unforgettable. Lucy was always very professional, helpful, polite and available to solve any problems for us even on her own time. She assisted me with organizing my return home for family emergency in a few minutes. She was very concerned, helpful, efficient and compassionate, sacrificing her own personal time to help me in organizing my trip back home providing all necessities. Thanks to LUCY, my trip to Vietnam was a wonderful experience and I would love to return again. The price for the tour was very good. The choice of hotels and meals provided to us were excellent. The entire experience was great.
